WFH Special - staying resilient
Lockdown eases but still keeps many of us working from home.
WFH remains a reality for small and micro business owners (that’s me too) and their employees as well as those who work for large public service organisations for the time being.
As a Fellow of the Institute of Enterprise and Entreprenuers I am delighted that my recent set of WFH blogs are featured in a special pull out section of its current edition of Think Enterprise.
We have provided a combination of best practice guidance, ideas and sources of help and practical learning activities. Check out the activity for helping you to deal with stress.
Mentioning stress is important. The consequence of this period of lockdown and living with the presence of a pandemic is a cause for concern. Mental health and wellbeing is being affected. The fallout from what has happened over the past few months and the upheavals for everyone are causing anxiety and stress. It applies to those who are being asked (hopefully not ordered) to go back to places of work, use public transport as well, of course.
Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week, a chance to highlight employees’ and your own wellbeing matters and find practical and helpful support as these challenging and difficult times continue.
